Yigal, israelischer Politiker, * Kefar Tavor (Galiläa) 10. 10. 1918, ✝ Afula 29. 2. 1980; Mitbegründer (1941) und Befehlshaber (1945-48) der Palmach. Mitglied der sozialistischen »Achdut Haavoda« (seit 1968 Israel. Arbeitspartei), war 1961-68 Arbeitsminister, 1968-77 stellvertretender Ministerpräsident und gleichzeitig 1968/69 Einwanderungs-, 1969-74 Erziehungs-, 1974-77 Außenminister. Am 26. 6. 1967 legte Allon einen Plan vor, der entlang des Jordans die Errichtung eines Gürtels strategischer Siedlungen zur Sicherung des Westjordanlandes gegenüber Jordanien vorsah. Der Allonplan diente in den folgenden Jahren der Regierung als Leitlinie für den Bau jüdischer Siedlungen im besetzten Gebiet.
